The Free and Accepted Masons aka the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons aka Freemasons
The degrees concept: very simple, in traditional Freemasonry there were only three degrees, the first was basically you're an apprentice, the second was you're an intermediate & the third was that you were a master mason. Many present day Masonic Organizations use up to 32 degrees, some use a 33rd however a 33rd degree is different from the others. It is an honorary title only presented to an individual by a Masonic organization, and you are not initiated unlike the other 32 (or 3) degrees
